Strategic Business Manager/AVP – Corporate Supplier Diversity (2008 – 2009)
Recruited to this newly created position to manage Supplier Diversity relationship with high-profile lines of business.  Collaborated with external organizations and internal partners to increase visibility and awareness of Supplier Diversity.  Produced and presented performance reports and strategic plans for internal clients.
-Co-authored the first Corporate Supplier Diversity Operations Manual, documenting all policies and procedures which became the basis for the combined Wells Fargo - Wachovia program.
-Led the collaborative efforts with Well Fargo personnel on a merger-related project to successfully merger supplier diversity information and to identify and classify women-and minority-owned suppliers.
-Elected to the Board of Directors for the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council, charged with advancing the opportunities for minority-owned companies in the marketplace.
-Represented the corporation in industry organizations including: Corporate Procurement Board for the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce, Charlotte Chamber of Commerce – Diversity Professionals Roundtable.

Portfolio Manager/AVP – Corporate Real Estate (2006 – 2008)
Managed a portfolio of 120 Wachovia Securities locations totaling 850,000 square feet.  Partnered with management to determine future needs and locate potential new office sites.  Scrutinized tangible and intangible costs for each new transaction, renewal or capital improvement to provide upper management with a complete picture of the financial and customer impact.
-Overcame previously perceived “difficult customers” perception of the department by cultivating trusting relationships with branch managers and creating an environment of collaboration and frank dialogue to balance local and corporate objectives.
-Renegotiated the lease terms with a distressed landlord and assumed responsibility for contractor relationships. Reduced upkeep costs by 50% and enhanced the landlord relationship.   
-To balance the needs of slow growing businesses with expanding businesses in regional locations, conducted cost-benefit analysis and located more appropriate workspaces.  In all instances, costs decreased while visibility and work environments were enhanced.  
-Despite often conflicting goals, facilitated collaboration between the client, construction manager, architect, IT team and interior designer to design the most efficient and attractive office spaces while meeting corporate property standards and budgets.
-Expanded use of corporate contracting for maintenance and cleaning, which cut costs by approximately 20% at branch locations while increasing the level of service for most locations.
-Proactively initiated early lease renewals, resulting in 10-15% reduction in rental costs. 

Lease Administrator – Corporate Real Estate (2001 – 2005)
Coordinated abstraction and data entry and management of leases and lease components.  Confirmed accuracy of landlord billings and adherence to lease clauses and conditions.  Provided financial information to regional team members to ensure budgetary compliance.
-Led initiative to audit landlord billings, which located more than $250,000 in inaccurate or inappropriate charges.
-Served as primary landlord billing contact for a portfolio of approximately 1000 office locations.
-Delivered employee training on policy and procedures, software usage and records maintenance.
-Received numerous STAR and Shared Success awards for the accuracy and efficiency of output from management.

LINCOLN PROPERTY COMPANY

Internal Auditor – 2000 - 2001
Managed the audit schedule for a portfolio of approximately 50 locations.  Investigated cases of employee theft and misdirection of company funds.  Produced and presented reports detailing compliance with company polices and procedures.
-By emphasizing my experience in their role, created an environment of trust with property managers to ensure open and honest conversation.
-Conducted workshops for property managers detailing proper procedures and observation of company procedures.
-Identified procedural failures and recommended remediation plans to ensure future compliance.

Property Manager – 1997 - 2000
Directed the day-to-day management of a 248-unit residential community.  Supervised a staff of five and  handled all recruitment and personnel activities.  
-Created annual property budget and planned routine maintenance and capital expenditures.

-Developed annual marketing and staff incentive plans with quarterly review and updates.
